This study training area contains all relevant modules and training materials needed in order for your local study staff to self-train on the EVIS Trial.
This has been broken down by the role you will have in the local study team. Please follow the links to the pages below to complete the training modules on each subject which is relevant to your role.
The training matrix can be used as a tool to provide an overview of the mandatory and recommended training you are required to complete. Please document all training undertaken on the EVIS Module Training log provided.

eCRF Training on REDCAP
Module 8: ‘REDCAP/eCRF’ Training is only mandatory training if you have been (or will be) delegated the responsibility for eCRF data entry, patient randomisation etc. If you are not delegated any responsibilities which require access to the eCRF then this is not mandatory training for you).
Once you have completed the REDCAP training Module, this should also be documented by signing off a separate EVIS REDCAP Training Log and sent on to the project manager Hannah.Greenwood@nhs.scot who is in charge of eCRF user access.
Documenting Additional Training outside of the EVIS Training Modules
For any additional training undertook by site study staff, such as self-administered training on the current EVIS protocol, or training on amendments, this should be documented on the EVIS Clinical Training Log.
Please note that any staff member on the delegation log will need to have completed full GCP training. The GCP Awareness module is primarily intended for those who will not go on the delegation log but that would be included under the category of “treating clinician”.
